Community Chest

ABL Community Chest Grants are now open!

Residents can apply for grants of up to £1,000 to run projects and activities that benefit the Aberfeldy community. We are looking to support ideas that bring people together or provide opportunities for people to try new things.

Projects funded from the last round in 2021, included healthy eating workshops, a children’s art club, men and women’s walking groups, women’s sewing classes, a parent-led fun club, after school football, boxing for kids and toddler sessions.

This year, projects should aim to:

  • Make Aberfeldy a better place to live
  • Contribute towards capacity building, e.g. grow new ideas, build community relationships/networks, develop knowledge or skills, etc.
  • Address inequality
If you’ve got a idea, get in touch and give it a go! No pressure!

To be eligible, you must either be an Aberfeldy resident or work or volunteer in Aberfeldy or be an organisation that is registered in Aberfeldy or already work with/serve Aberfeldy residents.

If you need support from the ABL staff team to talk through your Community Chest idea or with completing your application, we will have two drop-in slots available on Tuesday 7th February at 1-3pm & 4-6pm

Email or call 07442251109 for more information or to to speak to one of the team.

    Community Events

We hosted our Aberfeldy Jubilee Party on Sunday 5th June. We welcomed over 400 Aberfeldy residents on Millennium Green.

Residents have told us that they really enjoy getting the opportunity to meet their neighbours. If you have an idea for a community event we could run, then please get in touch.
