Community Chest

ABL Community Chest Grants will open soon!

Residents can apply for grants of up to £1,000 to run projects and activities that benefit the Aberfeldy community. We want to support ideas that unite people or provide opportunities to try new things.

Projects funded from the last round in 2021 included healthy eating workshops, a children’s art club, men’s and women’s walking groups, women’s sewing classes, a parent-led fun club, after-school football, boxing for kids, and toddler sessions.

This year, projects should aim to:

  • Make Aberfeldy a better place to live
  • Contribute to capacity building, e.g., growing new ideas, building community relationships/networks, developing knowledge or skills, etc.
  • Address inequality
If you’ve got an idea, get in touch and give it a go! No pressure!

To be eligible, you must either be an Aberfeldy resident, work or volunteer in Aberfeldy, or be an organisation registered in Aberfeldy or already work with/serve Aberfeldy residents.

We will offer two drop-in slots if you need support from the ABL staff team to discuss your Community Chest idea or complete your application.

Email hello@aberfeldybiglocal.com or call 0792 777 4001 for more information or to speak to one of the team.
